2023 is shaping up to be our best year ever! A lot of great changes - it's like a fresh breeze has swept the club and we are so excited for you to see what we have in store. What you can expect at Silver Lakes this season:
a. Grand opening of our stunning outdoor event space and bar, The Birch, next to Blue Heron Lakelet. Expect live music, fire pits, breezy cocktails, finger foods to watch the sun go down. The perfect place to unwind post-round or as an after-work retreat. Come check it out! Stay tuned for updates.
We even have our first lakeside yoga program starting May 3rd ($7 per person for Sunset yoga) - come and join us! Sunrise yoga starts from May 7th. The perfect way to warm up for the season!! please email events to book a spot. We will have lots of great events planned at the Birch Bar this year, which is like a little oasis away from the Clubhouse, especially now as we have installed lovely new rest rooms (between the 12th and 13th holes). b. Refreshed Sixteen Lakes Bistro, which is now, more than ever, a beautiful and cozy retreat. Lots of new tasty items on the menu, which in addition to fan favourites such as classic burgers, hotdogs and Reubens, now includes tacos and all-day breakfast. Our 2023 wine selection includes whites and reds from Ontario, California and Australia whilst our ice cold beers include Budweiser, Mill St, Corona, Stella and Triple Bogey.
c. Refurbished Banquet Hall, complete with updated bar, new soft furnishings and mood lighting.
d. Reopening of the Lakes Lounge (perfect for meetings and intimate gatherings)

In addition, the cold drinks fridge in the Pro Shop will be stocked with grab and go soft drinks for those early morning tee times. Hot drinks, including espresso and cappuccinos (to go) are available from the Bistro. Our beverage cart will be fully loaded and on the course to keep you refreshed throughout your round.
