The Course

Silver Lakes is a four-star, 7100-yard par 72 championship golf course carved from 200 acres of mature forest and rolling countryside.  Established in 1993 and designed by R.F.Moote to USGA specifications, Silver Lakes has the look, feel and atmosphere of the Carolinas.

Silver Lakes winds its way through tree-lined terrain alongside the meandering Holland River. Neighbouring wetlands are a big part of the course with wetlands coming into play on 12 holes.  Great care has been taken to preserve natural habitats.  It is not unusual to see many species of birds and other wildlife – including deer and the majestic blue heron.

Silver Lakes is also one of only a few golf courses in Ontario with an Aqua Range, where you can practice driving your balls over Blue Heron Lakelet. Our 7-acre facility offers unique challenges and views. Outstanding practice facilities include two putting greens, chipping green and practice bunkers.

Come to Silver Lakes and experience its tranquil waterways and ponds, beautifully manicured greens and bent-grass fairways.   Well-placed bunkers and contoured greens blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of this woodland site.  Each hole is distinct and therefore interesting to play.  The course also adds a variety of tees on each hole so that golfers of all levels can be challenged.

Silver Lakes is a public course that offers a private, country club feel and is as stunning as it is demanding.

Rated one of the top courses in the Greater Toronto Area by Ontario Golf Magazine.
