Breakfast Television feature on Silver Lakes Junior Golf

What a day at Silver Lakes yesterday! If you didn’t catch us on Breakfast Television bright and early, you can view one of the clips here.

Live Eye presenter Nicole Servinis was on location at Silver Lakes to learn more about the work we have been doing to support the Golf Gives Back program. We had our junior golfers up at the crack of dawn showing off their skills, using the Cobra Junior golf clubs that had been donated to Silver Lakes for youngsters to use free of charge.

Joe Korman, the founder of Golf Gives Back, was on hand

to talk about the goals of the program and of course, the amazing prize draws coming up (including tickets to the 2021 Masters) with every donation made to Golf Gives Back. Our Director of Golf, Chris Bratten, gave Nicole some pointers on her swing and discussed youth golf at Silver Lakes (video featured below). Our junior golfers demonstrated their swings and spoke about what they love about golf. Local parent Lauren Margules was also interviewed, speaking about how much she values golf as a family activity.

It was a really fantastic morning for all those involved – especially the young players (some of whom were absolute beginners) who got to be on live TV. A big thank you to Nicole and Gaeten from BT and all the parents and kids who got up extra early to make the feature a success.
