Sixteen Lakes Kitchen & Bistro - Patio Open!
We are looking for someone who can bring exceptional service to our guests. This role is primarily serving our golfers and Bistro customers but occasional assistance on weddings and events may be required.
We have a newly renovated Bistro - we are excited to open indoor dining as soon as the covid restrictions lift. In the meantime, we do a roaring trade on our Patio, which has a new menu.
You will be expected to: -Meet and greet guests and provide timely and friendly service -Have full knowledge of food and beverage menus (including garnishes, ingredients and preparation methods) and actively promote new items and drink selections -Coordinate preferences, allergies and special occasions -Operate the beverage cart vehicle in a safe manner -Complete Daily Operations (i.e. opening and closing, stocking, polishing, cleaning and maintaining snack bar, carts etc) -Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures

-Minimum of 1 year food and beverage experience -Available to work days, evenings and weekends -Available for the entire golf season (until Oct/Nov) -Smart Serve Certification and valid driver's licence -Able to lift and carry up to 30+lbs and be on your feet -Knowledge of golf and golf etiquette is an asset -Previous point-of-sale system experience is an asset -Extensive wine, beer and cocktail knowledge an asset -First Aid Training is an asset
